Hello everyone! Today, I want to share Dishui Lake in Shanghai with you.
First, Dishui Lake is circular. It has a diameter of 2.66 kilometers and an area of 5.56 square kilometers. This is similar in size to West Lake in Hangzhou. The average depth is 3.7 meters, with the deepest point at 6.2 meters. It is truly impressive.
The water diversion canal has a cross-sectional area of about 2.6 square meters. There are also three small islands in the lake. These islands cover a total area of 0.48 square kilometers. This adds to the lake’s charm.
The North Island is about 235,000 square meters. It is a water-themed entertainment venue. Here you will find a water park, an oasis, a game tunnel, a performance arts center, a happy harbor, and an ocean culture museum. Each offers a unique experience.
The other two islands also have special features. The West Island covers about 60,000 square meters. It is perfect for business, travel stays, and office spaces. It also has two high-star hotels. The South Island covers about 140,000 square meters. It is a water recreation island with a yacht club, a resort, a clubhouse, and a yacht harbor. It is a hub for international water sports and fitness activities.
Finally, Dishui Lake is in Lingang New City, Pudong New Area, Shanghai.
